How do I set different Processing Fee for each Payment method in Payfunnels?

  • You can now set processing fees based on the payment option your customer selects at checkout. For example, you can assign 0% processing fee for ACH payments, while keeping standard fees for other methods like credit cards. This helps you encourage customers to choose lower-cost payment options and gives you more flexibility in managing transaction costs.

Follow the steps below to set different processing fees for your payment methods:


  • Log in to your Payfunnels account and go to Billing > Settings > Forward Processing Fees. Then, click on the Add button.

  • For example, if you want to set the processing fee to 0% when a customer selects the ACH / US Bank Account payment method at checkout, enter 0% or $0, toggle the Override Payment Method option, and choose US Bank Account (or another payment method as needed).
  • You can also set this as your default processing fee if you have multiple payment options. Once done, click Save — and that’s it!

  • You’ll now see a new processing fee created with 0% for the US Bank Account option. So, when a customer selects US Bank Account at checkout, they won’t be charged any processing fee.

  • As shown in the screenshot below, if a customer chooses the Card option at checkout, they’ll be charged the processing fee.

  • However, if they choose US Bank Account, 0% processing fee will be applied. Below is the screenshot.
