How to Schedule Payments on a Specific Date in a Custom Payment Plan?

Follow these steps to schedule payments for specific dates in a custom plan:

  • Log in to your PayFunnels account, click New Payment Link, and enter the title and description.

  • Under Product Type, choose Single Product, then under Payment Type, select Custom Plan.
  • Click the “+” (Plus) button to add the first custom payment, which will be collected immediately.

  • After adding the first payment, click the “+” (Plus) button again to add the second custom payment.
  • When adding the second payment, choose Specific Date under the Delay Interval option.

  • Set the date you want to collect the second payment. (Example: August 19, 2025).

  • You’ll now see that the second payment is scheduled for August 19, 2025 in the screenshot below.
  • Also, you will see the message that the URL link will expire 1 day before the 2nd payment specific date. This is to make sure no other subscriptions are added, as you will lose the first payment.
  • Click the “+” (Plus) icon again to add the third custom payment if needed.

( Again, the payment link will still expire 1 day before the second payment)

  • Set the date you want to process the third payment, then click Add. (Example: September 1, 2025).

  • The third payment will now be scheduled for September 1, 2025.

  • You can add up to five custom payments under a single payment link.
  • Once finished, scroll down and Save the payment link. That’s it!
  • You can now view the payment schedule on the checkout page.

Note: The payment link is scheduled to expire one day before the 2nd payment.
