How do I create a Payment Plan Invoice with Custom Payment Interval?
You can now create invoices with customized payment intervals. Follow these steps to set up a payment plan invoice with a custom payment interval:
- To create a payment plan invoice with a custom payment interval, please click on the 'New Invoice' and select the Payment Plan option.
- Then select the payment plan, enter the amount, choose Custom to set the payment interval period according to your needs, and enter the number of payments you want to take in End after X payments.
- For example: If you want to charge a total of $ 1500 in 3 installments on a semi-yearly basis then divide the amount by 3 ( $ 1500/3= $ 500), enter $ 500 in the amount section, set every 3 months under the custom period, and enter 3 in End after X payments. This way it will take 3 payments of $ 500 on a semi-yearly basis(every 6 months) and stop automatically. Below is the screenshot.
- You can set interval periods in days, weeks, months, and years.
- Once done, then save the invoice and that's it. You're done.
