How to forward the booking or the Processing fees to the customer?
You can now forward the processing fee/convenience fee to your customer either a fixed amount or a percentage.
Below are the steps on how to create and add processing fees to the invoices:
- Login to your Payfunnels account and go to the 'Settings' section under the 'Billing' tab. Go to the Convenience fees section and click on the add button.
- Then, you will be asked to enter the details to add the processing fee.
- First, add a label according to your business needs or you can keep 'Processing fees'.
- Now, choose the type of processing fee, you can add either a percentage-based fee or a fixed amount.
- In the end, enter the processing fee value, and click on the save button.
- As you can see the processing fee has now been created. You can create multiple processing fees by following the same steps.
- To apply the processing fee on the invoice, go to the advanced options while creating/updating the invoice.
- Scroll to the bottom and locate the Convenience fee/Processing fee option. Then toggle and choose the fee from the list you want to apply on the invoice.
- After choosing the processing fee, save the invoice.
- Now, when you send the invoice to your customers, the processing fee will appear as a separate line item on the checkout and on the payment receipts/invoices for full transparency. See the below screenshot.
