What is the Cancel and Reschedule policy in Calendar?
Using the 'Cancel and Reschedule policy' you can allow your customers to cancel/reschedule their bookings for the events. Simply, you can set a time limit where your customer/participant can cancel/reschedule bookings in the event before that time limit.
- To enable the 'Cancel and Reschedule policy' option, go to settings under Calendar and scroll to the bottom. You will see the 'Cancel and Reschedule policy' section.
- Toggle to enable options and set timing according to your requirements and in the end, click on the Save button.
- After enabling the 'Cancel and Reschedule policy' option, when your customers book their slot in the event, they will receive a confirmation email with the 'Cancel and Reschedule policy' notes. See the below screenshot.
- (Note: Please make sure that 'Confirm Schedule' notifications are turned on for participants in the 'Notifications' under the Calendar section.)
- Customers can Cancel/reschedule their booking from the confirmation email using the 'Reschedule or Cancel' buttons.
- You can edit/update those notes from 'Settings'.
